HMS PTO WELCOMES YOU and YOUR STUDENT(S)

 TO THE 2026/27 HMS COMMUNITY!

This year our monthly PTO meetings will feature a chance to hear from HMS staff and discuss shared interests and concerns with other families. Come connect with other parents and caregivers, learn what’s going on at HMS, and build a great community to support our school!

What does Hunt PTO do?

1. Connects families—with each other, and with HMS

2. Supports our teachers - as chaperones, finding funds and supplies for special events/field trips

3. Leads community events - potluck dinners, nights out, school play, science fair.

4. Supports school events - help with planning dances, defray costs, source supplies.

5. Spread the word - another channel of engagement for parents

Our final PTO meeting is Weds, June 3 6-7:30 @ HMS in a room near the cafeteria (main entrance and turn right).

We will discuss our plans for the 26/27 school year and tie up any loose ends for this year!

HMS Family Skate Night - 3/27!!!

 Hello, Panther Community!

In partnership with Joyriders Skate Club, HMS is excited to announce our first ever family skate night!  Students and their families are encouraged to join us for one of two skate sessions for an evening of fun on wheels Friday, March 27th.  Admission is free, though snacks will be available for purchase. 

Because of the limited availability of roller skate rentals and session capacity, pre-registration for this event is required. Sign up your student and participating guests using the Form linked below:

HMS Presents: Beauty and the Beast (Jr.)!

WHAT: 

HMS PTO & Very Merry Theatre are working together this spring to put on 

Beauty and the Beast (Jr)! 

Come be part of an awesome production, and a wonderful show!  

WHO: 

All students in 6-8th are welcome to participate, and there will be no cuts. 

There are great roles for all genders, and students have the opportunity to act on stage or be part of the crew backstage.  

WHEN:

Auditions will be Feb 16th

Rehearsals start March 6th (Mon & Fri afterschool)

Performances will be April 16th & 17th

HOW:

HMS movie night 10/17 - support needed!
