arent involvement is just as
important in the Middle School as it was in the Elementary… Your ideas, energy and input are important to
us. Being involved in your child’s
educational and extra- curricular opportunities are a great investment. Come check out the PTO at Hunt:
First PTO Meeting:
Monday, September 15th from 6:30-7:30pm in the Hunt Library
Sports Schedule this week: Unless stated, games start at 4pm. H=Home, A=Away. Transportation is provided to away meets. Get directions to away meets on the Hunt sports page.
Speaking of Sports.... did you know that athletes must get Progress Reports signed and turned in to Mr. Pecor each week in order to participate in sports? Ask your child to tell you about how this works and why this practice is important.
STUDENT COUNCIL starts up this week Ask your child if he/she plans to participate. This from the Hunt Website: Are you a leader? Are you willing to speak up and say what you think? Do you have ideas that might make our school a better place?
If you answered yes, and have a little time in your schedule, you should consider being part of this year's student council! Hunt student council is a very active organization that makes a difference at Hunt. We meet weekly to plan events and to communicate student needs and concerns to the faculty and staff at our school. If you are interested in a rep position, please let your team teachers know. Team teachers, please give your students an opportunity to elect reps by the end of this week. We will hold our first meeting next Tuesday, where we will begin planning for the election of our school officers.
Flag Football If your child is interested in Flag Football after school, he/she can get a permission form from Mr. Rock in room C2. Football meets in the track field immediately after school 3:05 until 3:35 Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Did you know that Hunt posts Daily Announcements on their website? This information is conveyed over the loadspeaker to students during school hours but is often missed by students... noisy classroom, inattention... In one ear and out the other - you get the message - adolescent syndrome! Here is where to find them: http://hunt.bsd.schoolfusion.us/modules/cms/pages.phtml?pageid=309200&sessionid=07a28f3af8bf66e8f70bac193a8d9783&sessionid=07a28f3af8bf66e8f70bac193a8d9783
