Hunt PTO Kicks-off the schoolyear with a meeting THIS THURSDAY, 6:30pm in the Hunt Library.
The PTO supports Hunt activities, team trips, social events, school beautification, 8th grade graduation and more when funding permits. With huge budget cuts to the District and less money available to teachers, our efforts to support them are even more critical. In past years where we have had ample fundraising, the PTO was able to give yearly grants to teams for purchases like science probes, plastic filament for the 3D printer, earphones to use with netbooks, a math program for the 6th grade and much more. Last year we were unable to continue giving grants to teams/teachers due to minimal fundraising. We hope to turn this around and again support Hunt teachers and school initiatives. While your child may not want you hanging around as much, we do! Whether you are a PTO regular or a newcomer to this parent/teacher group, we welcome your ideas, questions and energy. Join us and find out the small and large ways you can connect with Hunt middle school.
